Our Story

Hello! My name is Renata, the owner and the person behind the scenes of Weddings To Go Key West. Although I am originally from the Czech Republic, my heart now belongs in two places – the Czech Republic and Key West.

My passion for photography first bloomed when my daughter was born. I just wanted to capture all of her little moves, her tiny toes and beautiful smile. Soon I purchased my first professional camera – my Nikon D50, and expanded my photography to include photo sessions for family and friends.

In 2021, I was offered a wonderful opportunity to work for Weddings to Go as a part time wedding photographer. Soon afterwards, I was approached by the owners to do a photoshoot, which left me both excited and very nervous! That experience led me to being scheduled full time, fulfilling my dream of capturing beautiful love stories as they unfold right in front of my eyes!

This experience opened the doors to another fantastic opportunity when Ray and Eileen, the founders of Weddings To Go, brought me into the business as a partner. I trained side by side with them in all aspects of the wedding planning business, such as bookings, vendor relationships, setups, décor and scheduling. Because I am a very detail - oriented person, I became proficient in these roles in a short time.

Now that I am the owner of Weddings To Go, my vision is to grow what Ray and Eileen started so long ago, and do my best to make them proud of me! On a personal note, I have a beautiful family of two incredible daughters and an amazing, hardworking husband, who built his own business from the ground up. We both believe in a work ethic of being honest and fair when dealing with our clients.

What you may not guess about me is that I am a very sentimental person who secretly cries tears of happiness behind my camera at every wedding!
